Shingles, water, and stairs

The shingles are on!
And luckily we were pleased with our choice.   After we chose the color I was afraid it would be too brown once they got them on.  But there really isn't any hint of brown at all.
The eyebrow at the end of the garage.

They finished digging the well last week.
The guy who did the work said he had dug most of the other wells in the development and had to go to about 200-300 feet.  We weren't nearly as lucky.  He had to go to 580 feet to get water.  And of course, he charges by the foot.

They also got the stairs to the bonus room built.  Paul had been saying that they would be kind of narrow and steep but he ended up changing it so they will be really easy to get things up and down.  We were a little worried about how steep they would be so we were super happy with them.
And we think we'll have plenty of room to park Brad's Toyota behind them.
This was my first time in the bonus room.  It going to be nice extra space.

They also put the beams in the great room upstairs.  I thought it was funny that someone had to point them out to me.  I really thought they would stand out but right now, they really don't.
Brad was checking out the attic.
